Error in orders05 idoc

Hello,

i am getting & The material number for item & could not be identified this error for a line item.

can anyone tell me what may be the reason

Fields (area of SDATA) not populated? Invalid data values coming in the IDOC? Error in parsing the IDOC data? Please explain how the IDOC is processed...standard/unmodified SAP process code and function module or ??

Hi ,

please check in the tcode WE02 or WE05 , in that check in which segment the error is coming in the data records, the system throughs some error based on that you need to check it in that segment. Check if there is a mandatory segment which is not populating .
