Error in Infotype operation

Hi All,

I was trying to create a new record in Infotype 8 bu using function module HR_INFOTYPE_OPERATION.

CALL FUNCTION 'HR_INFOTYPE_OPERATION'

EXPORTING

INFTY = '0008'

NUMBER = gv_pernr

  • SUBTYPE =

  • OBJECTID =

  • LOCKINDICATOR =

VALIDITYEND = gv_begda

VALIDITYBEGIN = gv_endda

  • RECORDNUMBER =

RECORD = gw_p0008

OPERATION = 'INS'

  • TCLAS = 'A'

  • DIALOG_MODE = '0'

  • NOCOMMIT =

  • VIEW_IDENTIFIER =

  • SECONDARY_RECORD =

IMPORTING

RETURN = return

  • KEY =

I am getting the following error message in return.

Type: E

Id: RP

Number: 100

Message: No entry in table T510 for the key 08A 993A91 on 06/01/2008

Log no:

Log ms no: 000000

msgv1; T510

msgv2: 08A 993A91

msgv3: 06/01/2008

msgv4:

Ca any one tell me the reason why this error is coming?

Hi

Check out table T510 entries for ur selection...

There might be some configuration problem... Need to do some settings in configuration...

As it is saying that there must be record present in table T510

Hope it will solve your problem..

Hi,

The HR_INFOTYPE_OPERATION function module enables you to maintain master data for employees and applicants. You can transfer one data record. All validation checks take place that would take place in the individual maintenance screens in the dialog. If necessary, the module returns an error message. The error messages are the same as the error messages in the dialog, that is, the individual maintenance screen error messages are transferred rather than interpreted by this module.

As u are creating an entry in the Infotype 0008 it is checking the table T510 ---> Pay Scale Groups for the Pay scale group.

So there is no record present in the table T510 with the fields given by u in the function Module.

Check the Entries in table T510 try to give the valid entries in the Function module

HR_INFOTYPE_OPERATION.
