Error in FTP_CONNECT

Hi all,

I want to test a function module "FTP_CONNECT". I am passing below four mandatory parameters.

1. USER
2. PASSWORD
3. HOST
4. RFC_DESTINATION

and I am getting an error "User XXXX has no access authorization for computer XXXX. Message no. 04202"

My doubts are as follows:

1. Here, what should I pass to the import parameter "User" and "Password"?

    Should I pass my SAP user ID credentials OR Computer (Logon user) credentials ?

2. And when HOST is a different FTP server that I want to connect to then Do I need to make any modification to the host file located at C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc path?

3. What is table "SAPFTP_SERVERS"? When it is updated?

Open the table SAPFTP_SERVERS and create the entries with above information.

Dear Nikhil,

for the first point, the user name and password should not be of yours, it should be of the computer for which you are trying to connect.

Dear Nikhil,

For second point, I believe you need not make any modification.

Hi Nikhil,

Be sure of 2 things:

1.- User and password avalaible on Server Target and privileges granted.

2.- FTP Services "ON" in Server Target.
