Hi Jaya,

U can handel the errors using PROCESS CODES

OR

By using the T.CODE : WE19 , u can debug the idoc , by doing the bedug u can slove the problem.

While doing this, If u get any kind of issues, please let me konw.

Generally for outbound processes there is a IDOC generation program. You can directly debug it.

The Outbound erroe occurs because of so many reasons.It may be due to less repetations of data in segment , or if reciever is not available . U can process the IDOC-Outboubnd with help of following TCODES

1. TO check status - we02

2. To get list of process codes for Inbnd and Outbnd IDOCs - we64

3. TO check IDOC is sent to receiver or not- sm58

4. To trace IDOC - bdm2

5.To check status of tRFC executiojn- bd75

my problem is i need to debugg the outbound idoc to see wat are all teh values being updated . i went to we20 and clicked on message control tab i couldnt find any process codes the document sent suggested to go to direct path and change pointers to know the process code but i coulnt get the direct path were it is could uplz tell how to find the process code for the outbound idoc

Hi Jaya ,

There are various ways to debugg Utboubn IDOC as followsa

1. In we19 give ur IDOC name , start debugging n debuuger to check values in it

2. In case of customsed IDOC , u can debug ur IDOC generation Program to check for values u want.

3.In we41 , u can get whole list of IDOC Process codes.

4. In Message Control tab of we20 , the Process Code doesnot come automatically unless it is mentioned. The process Codes present there in Value Help for Process code available there , depends on BASIS settings. So contact ur BASIS people. Genaerally Process Code for required scenarion and IDOC genearationa re avilable there.or otherwise it is internally taken by SAP.

If u want values present , the mentioned methods above are sufficient.

Hi Jaya,

I think that you are using master IDocs. For master IDocs the outbound FM can be found for the message type in transaction BD60.

Now for the standard master idocs (like CREMAS, MATMAS etc) SAP has provided IDoc generation programs - like txn. BD10 for MATMAS, BD12 for DEBMAS (Navigate through SAP menu - Tools > ALE > Master Data Distribution > Cross-applications to get more).

If it is a custom idoc then you will have to write a program similar to BD10/BD12 for idoc generation. This program will take the partner profile and the setting done in BD60 (for outbound FM) into consideration and will generate an IDoc. By putting a breakpoint in the FM you can debug it.

Hi Jaya,

If your IDOC type is matmas04 , then processc doe u need to attach is

'matm'. U can atach your own function modue in BD60 to this process code.

Set the break point in this Function Module , and can debugg as per you requirements,
