Error accessing MARA after removing custom append

We added an Append strutucture to the MARA table, containing 3 Z* fields (Z1, Z2, Z3).

The import of the append by mean of a cr was successfull.

After a while we removed the append directly in the target environment, without a change request.

Now we recive a dumps related to the MARA table, saying ' field Z2 not found in table MARA'.

Infact these field are not present into the MARA table, and in SE14 we see it consistent as DB object or Runtime Object.

The Object log in SE14 is ok, says the table was successfully converted.

Any idea why the programmes, especially the MARA_ARRAY_READ continue to see a Z field that is not present anymore into the table ?

We try already to stop-start Sap but the error still exist.

The database was not restarted yet.

Hi

Please check any program is using the custom fields(Z1, Z2, Z3). If any program uses these then u amy get dump..

When you appended a z strcuture to MARA system generates some code automatically for these changes , usually when u delete the structure system again should revert back those code changes (usually it will) but it ur case deletetion has not happened completely .

You try to delete that structure in ur Q system with a trasport request and apply this transport to ur Production system.This should stop your errors.
