ERP is a generic term denoting to the operations performed within the organisation, say HR, Finance, Materials, Warehousing , Sales etc

SAP is one of the packaged solution for implementing ERP within the org.

ERP stands for Enterprise resource planning.

As you are fresher, you should start looking at some specific domain in ERP like Banking, Finance, Oil and Gas etc.
