Equipments - direct input problem

Hello,

I'm using direct input to upload equipments (I'm not using BAPI, because a 'vendor' field is missing there). When I want to run a session, the system issues an error message (ID558): Transaction IE01 not supported in direct input mode. I put IE01 as a constant in the TCODE field in the IBIP structure.

Could you, please, help me with this problem?

you have batch input also..

Object 0400 Equipment

Method 0001 Create BI

Program Name IBIP

Program Type B Batch Input

Hi,

Thanks for the reply. I know and it's working perfect, but I have 500K equipments to upload and batch input isn't the best method to deal with such data volume.

Do you have any idea why I'm receiving this error during the direct input?
