2. Is the roles & authorizations & user-role assignments is same in EP6 like in R/3.

3. Where the portal roles store( tables name please)? how is their behaviour is it same like in R/3?

1) EP6 = Enterprise Portal 6.0, its java based running on the WAS 6.40 java

2) Its not exactly the same, I think that R/3 is quite more extensive.

3) Portal roles are stored, I think, in the the database of the WAS in which the portal is running.

4) Using an administrator log on, you can create users, create roles, assign pages and iviews to roles, assign roles to users all from the User Adminstration tab.

As Eddy has mentioned, there is a lot of documentation out there.

In order to avoid incompletenessn I refer to service.sap.co/nw-ep

Btw this isn't the correct forum. There are special forums for EP.
