Enqueue lock table in a server group

Hi experts,

I'm using an enqueue object to lock a table, my SAP server is a group server that have 3 server instances.

I'm wondering if I use enqueue in my code, does it work for all instances? I think the answer is yes, but hopefully I want to know detailed mechanism behind it, thanks a lot.
