Enhancement using Customizing Include (CI_EKKODB) vs Append structure.

Hi.

I have to add a new field in PO header in Customer Data tab in ME21N.

In table EKKO, CI_EKKODB is already used for previous enhancement and has some fields and I want to add one more field to it.

Is it better to add the new field in already used CI_EKKODB or use APPEND STRUCTURE.

Please let me know your thoughts on this.

Use CI_EKKODB Only.

This question is like whether we should change SAP code or go for Enhancements.
