Enhancement Points & Support Package Stack

Hi, we would like to switch our modifications to enhancement points, we are using ECC6.0 SP15.

Can anyone tell me if it the use of enhancement point is suitable at this SP Level, or if it is advisable to wait until a next SP.

Next question is: From which SP Level are enhancement Points "fully supported". Thx for any answer to my question.

I know that Enhancement Points are supported. We would like to go over all our modifications and switch them to enhancement points. Our developer team says, that with our SP Level, we have to fix a lot of problems with SAP Notes to switch the major part of the modifications to enhancement points, and it would be better to wait for the 16 or 17 SP.

I think the question is answered, I was confused about a simple thing. The developer meant, the Enhancement Framework, which is based on the SAP-BASIS and SAP-ABA Component, works well from SP 17 and higher. I hope this is right, can somebody confirm this?

Enhancement Framework is the new concept for the enhamcement and includes all concepts of Enhancement Spot, Implicit, explicit......these concepts are available from release ECC 6.00 and the tools to manage it are inlegrate in ABAP Editor.

Perhaps there were some bugs solved from SP 17....but I don't know, that I can see in my system is some components have German description only so probably that means Enhancement Framework is a work in progress.
