Enable/Disable menu item in module pool

Hello Friends,

I am working on module pool programming, I have added new menu item in the standard SAP FM (VA02). In the GUI status I have added the menu item and when i run the VA02 tcode, it is disabled. How do I enable that new menu item?. How the function code assigned to that menu is used in program to get some popup window. Please help me here.. Any sample code will help me.

Maybe you forgot to activate changed GUI status?

Hello Friends,

Hello Alexander,

The GUI status is active, still the new menu item is disabled.

Please help me to identify the issue.

Hi,

What you should do is, find the list of statuses (i.e. COP, DEL, DIS, INS, MOD). Double click the one for which mode you want to have the menu item enabled... Expand the Menu Bar. Double click the Menu you're menu item is listed on. And once you're in change mode, click on the item you want to enable/disable, then click the Function Code button which will activate/deactivate a particular menu item.
