Empty Selection with F4IF_INT_TABLE_VALUE_REQUEST

Hello

I have a strange problem.

I'm using the Function F4IF_INT_TABLE_VALUE_REQUEST.

When I try the Programm, I have the problem that the selection box box is empty. But at the end of the Popup Box it says 99 values are found (thats the right number).

The Table ipefcp_tab2 is also filled with the right values.

The Code:

CALL FUNCTION 'F4IF_INT_TABLE_VALUE_REQUEST'

EXPORTING

retfield = 'FILESTRUCTURE'

value_org = 'S'

DYNPPROG = SY-REPID

DYNPNR = '2000'

DYNPROFIELD = 'lb'

TABLES

value_tab = ipefcp_tab2

EXCEPTIONS

parameter_error = 1

no_values_found = 2

OTHERS = 3.

Hi Jan,

I don't see anything wrong in your code. Check if the screen number is correct and spelling matches with the screen 'FILESTRUCTURE'.

All I could think is of SY-REPID.... If you assign that to a variable and then check if it works.



data: lv_repid type sy-repid.

lv_repid = sy-repid.

retfield should contain the field name whose value should come in the screen field after selecting the row from F4.

Instead of declaring FILESTRUCTURE field using "TYPE" addition using a standard type, declare using LIKE with reference to a dictionary field

like

 DATA: BEGIN OF ipefcp_tab2 OCCURS 0,
 FILESTRUCTURE  LIKE LAW_TEXT-FILENAME,
 END OF ipefcp_tab2.

Ensure that the value passed to the parameter 'DYNPNR' 2000 is correct

Ensure that the screen field name 'lb' is correct, also as suggesed above pass the value in CAPS, i.e., as 'LB'

Thanks for your help!!

I tried all your advices.

But I still havn't found the solution.

The F4 Selection Box still shows no values

Only in the footer and heading it say 99 values found which is correct

Hi,

I think you should create a work area for the FILESTRUCTURE (retfield), and then to append it to FILESTRUCTURE table with the fields that you want to see in the input help.

eg. wa_filestructure type line of filestructure

then fill in parameters FIELDNAME - 'column 1 from internal

table with data that you want to get

LANGU

POSITION

OFFSET

DOMNAME

CHECKTABLE

LENG

INTLEN

OUTPUTLEN

APPEND wa_filestructure TO FILESTRUCTURE.

Check which are optional or not from the function documentation and / or syntax check.

I'm having exactly the same problem in a very simple program I've created to test the function module 'F4IF_INT_TABLE_VALUE_REQUEST'. I'm told that 12 values where found but these are not displayed on the screen. The result screen is empty.
