Hi Sap User,

Emigall is the migration workbench of IS-U CCS (the R/3 add on for utilitie industries)

It works with specific migration objects to attend the CCS modules needs (DM, WM, FI/CA, CS, BI, etc). For this objects emigall use direct input to transfer the data from the legacy system.

when we migrate the data with EMIGALL then we will have to mmaintain text file in emigall format mannully or any method for convert simple text file in required migration format text file .

Facts abt EMIGALL.

High Performance Migration.

Import programs based on fast Direct Input technique.

Parallel import possible.

Interface structure width can be reduced

EMIGALL is specific to IS Industry and has ready hand objects. It has about 100 readymade ISU objects. LSMW is not specific for the IS industry, hence requires more time and effort for ISU related data migration.

In EMIGALL we don’t need to perform the projects which we need to go through in LSMW.

EMIGALL provides the user with the relationship between legacy system's primary key and SAP system's primary key. LSMW does not have this capability.

EMIGALL is an efficient and quick tool in comparison to LSMW
