email sending through coding

Hai friends,

I want to send an email through an internal table, but by using fm SO_NEW_DOCUMENT_ATT_SEND_API1 it is not working.

Pl send me the complete coding for sending email from an internal table.

hi

you have to pass below parameters in the same function module which you are using.

CALL FUNCTION 'SO_NEW_DOCUMENT_ATT_SEND_API1'

EXPORTING

document_data = w_document_data

put_in_outbox = c_x

TABLES

packing_list = tbl_packing_list

object_header = tbl_object_header

contents_txt = tbl_contents_txt

receivers = tbl_receivers[]

EXCEPTIONS

too_many_receivers = 1

document_not_sent = 2

document_type_not_exist = 3

operation_no_authorization = 4

parameter_error = 5

x_error = 6

enqueue_error = 7

OTHERS = 8.

maintain object text, header of mail and recivers in exporting parameters.

if you are beyond 46C, you should use BCS document services.

See SAP sample program BCS_TEST01 on how to do everything you ight ever want in a very easy way.

No more need to f.. around with SO_NEW_DOCUMENT_ATT_SEND_API1 and the like.

And besides: Let it be your personal entry point into OO use.
