Elementary search help

Hi all,

In IE03 ,under the General tab for the weight field the F4 values currently shows only Mass.and for a particular weight it is possible only to enter Mass as its unit. However I want enter a unit of measure other than Mass in that place. Is this possible with the use of a  elementary search help, or could you please suggest how this could be done ?

Hi Sarita,

There should be some customization to add new unit of measure . Please check

SPRO - Plant maintenance and customer service - Master data - technical object there would a view under which you maintain new units.

I used the /h and got to this point:

I think that this field is dedicated to mass values.

I guess that you want to use the field to other purposes.

Did you consider adding custom fields to tables ?

Ask your implementor about this .
