elementary search help problem

hi guys,

im creating elementary search help and attach it to the field . In Dev, the drill down lists are displayed nicely, but in QAs , after clicking F4 in the field, it displays the whole length of character 255, ended up the layout generates second row and it doesnt look nice, can anybody advice how this can happend?

Hi,

When u create search help there is an option -Display length, give this length as u want. you will get it.

if u did in your program then you can pass the value to function module used for search help functionality.

Hope this will solve your problem.

hi ,

i can't find the display lenght option, where is it?

it is too hassle to change the coding because everythign was done in the screen and i found it weird that dev and qas display the length differently
