hi,

in EDI or ALE ,the posting program either call Direct input function or call transaction .

can any body tell me what willl be the name of that direct input function and call transaction.

Hi,

I thing DIRECT INPUT and CALL TRANSACTION methods are used for BDC ONLY.

ya, i accept that but even in EDI or ALE we have the same concept,if you have the bood Arvind Nagpal for Interfaces...its in the page 410 ....

Hi Ganesh,

The data coming from the IDOC is updated to the database through BATCH JOBS.

You chan check the application documents for the changes. If the changes were done manually, it will show the name of the user otherwise it will give the job or program name.
