H there,
I've just installed Eclipse (2019-6) and the ABAP Development Tools.
The problem is, that the forward navigation with CTRL+LEFT MOUSE is nor working (e.g. when clicking on a variable to get to the declaration).
Same issue with Eclipse 2019-3.
Somebody has the same problems and can confirm this, or somebody has an idea how to resolve this?
Btw.: Forward navigation using F3 is working.

Hello Bejamin,
i encountered the same problem after i installed 2019-06. Please check if you installed SAP Cloud Business Applications Tools. If you installed them just remove them, this solved the problem for me.

Thanks Gaurav,
F3 is working, but I'm using CTRL+LEFT MOUSE for years now, and instead of changing my habbits I want to change the tools to work as intended 😉

could be catch by something else at system level (it will depends of your application system)
and on OSx you have to activate the left mouse button

Same here, running on 2019-09 on my home computer. After uninstalling SAP Cloud Business Application Tools, the navigation using ctrl + left mouse works as expected.
Thanks a lot !!

Really strange that CTRL+LEFT MOUSE has the usage you say. On my Windows laptop, I always considered that it moves the cursor to the start of the current or previous word (in all text editors, whatever it's ABAP or not). Do you use Mac, Windows, Linux?

Hi sandra.rossi
CTRL + LEFT-Mouse is for Hyperlinking (Default) in Eclipse and used for "Navigate to Definition", "Navigate to Implementation" or both in ADT

Domi Bigl Sorry I think my neurons just blew up, I took LEFT MOUSE for LEFT ARROW key 😞

For info, CTRL + LEFT MOUSE works on my Eclipse 2019-06/ADT 3.2.7. Note that I don't have SAP Cloud Business Applications Tools installed.
