Hello, I've just a little problem.
I write a programm with some dynpros.
Now I want to place the labels, textareas and buttons dynamic on the screen of the dynpro. The placement should depent on the values of my variables at PBO of the programm.
I tried it with visible=0 and so on, but it won't work because there are empty spaces between the items, when I hide one of them. The problem here is, that the items didn't move up when I hide one between them.
Is there an opportunity, to place the items otherwise on the screen?
Isn't it possible to place them by coordinates (x, y values) on an empty screen?
The only possibility that I just see is to create several dynpros (for each combination one) and to set them "dynamic" with "SET SCREEN". But this solution is not very good, because it isn't realy dynamic. The screens are static and only the call is dynamic. I have to replicate the items on each screen where I need them and so I habe a lot of work and I also have to change nearly every screen when there's a change in the programm.
My problem is very urgent and so I hope that you could help me.
Thanks in advance
Christian

hi
Use this in PBO of the screen
Loop at screen .
**modify screen. based on your conditions and **requiremnets
**input/output
endloop.

Dear vijay.
I think that your solution overlaps with my written idea.
I also tried it as followed:
LOOP AT SCREEN.
SCREEN-INVISIBLE = '1'.
SCREEN-ACTIVE = '0'.
MODIFY SCREEN.
ENDLOOP.
But the problem here is that the itmes does not move up, when I hide one between them.
For example:
* this is the normal screen.
-------------------
FIELD1
-------------------
-------------------
FIELD2
-------------------
-------------------
FIELD3
-------------------
*Now I use "LOOP AT SCREEN" and set invisible = 1.
-------------------
FIELD1
-------------------
|
| --> empty space. Field 3 does not move up.
|
-------------------
FIELD3
-------------------
I hope you can understand my problem much better with the example.
Thanks in advance.

Hi,
I think you need to Use Conatainers and controls. But I am not Sure.

Hi Vijay.
I'm very grateful for your answer and also for your efforts.
I serched in my ABAP reference for containers and controls.
For containers I havn't found nothing and for controls was the only match about table controls.
It is just an good idea to use table controls, because they are very dynamic, but they just don't fit to my dynpro design.
Have you got an idea where I can find something about containers?
Is there anyone other who has got an other idea?
kind regards

Hi
I will find out. and But why can't you use Sub screens
based on your conditions you can call the subscreens.

Hello,
Subscreens are an good idea, but I think they are not dynamic enough.
As I've seen, I have to declare the subsreens directly in the dynpro. But there I have no possibility, to react dynamic on values of my variables.
PROCESS BEFORE OUTPUT.
MODULE STATUS_0200.
CALL SUBSCREEN SUB_1 INCLUDING 'SAPMZPRINTVPETI' '0310'.
* I think that I can just use some static subscreen.
* When it is so, I couldn't see any advantages in subscreens.
How can I do it, to decide between some subscreen at the runtime?
I hope you can understand what I mean.
Kind regards
Christian
