Dynamic Internal Tables

Hello All,

I am in need of creating a Dynamic Internal table. For this the number of fields will be known in the run time only . so any one can help on this.

Hi,

Hope you can assign the structure at runtime using ASSIGN statement. Hope teh below example will you to get to a solution .

PARAMETERS: P_NAME(30).

PARAMETERS: P_CARRID TYPE SFLIGHT-CARRID.

PARAMETERS: P_CONNID TYPE SFLIGHT-CONNID.

DATA: COUNT TYPE I.

DATA: LINE(1000).

FIELD-SYMBOLS: <F> TYPE ANY, <F1> TYPE ANY.

SELECT * FROM (P_NAME) INTO LINE

WHERE CARRID = P_CARRID

AND CONNID = P_CONNID.

ASSIGN LINE TO <F> CASTING TYPE (P_NAME).

COUNT = 1.

DO.

ASSIGN COMPONENT SY-INDEX OF STRUCTURE <F> TO <F1>.

IF SY-SUBRC = 0.

WRITE: / COUNT, <F1>.

COUNT = COUNT + 1.

ELSE.

EXIT.

ENDIF.

ENDDO.

Hi kumaraswamy,

1.

For this purpose,

in my program,

<b> there is an INDEPENDENT FORM</b>

whose inputs are

<b> LIST OF FIELDS, (just as u require)</b>

and from those, it consructs dynamic table.

2. Here is the program.

the dynamic table name will be

<DYNTABLE>.

3. U can use this program (FORM in this program)

to generate any kind of internal table

by specifying list of fields.
