duplicate records - process

Hi ALL

I have an itab with records such as

PERNR URN amount

1. 100 a 50

2. 100 a 50

3. 100 b 100

Now I want to find the duplicate records, and process them, that is add up the amount field and delete the record.

so the new itab will be

100 a 100

100 b 100

There is a DELETE ADJACENT DUPLICATES FROM itab. , but this one just deletes the records, is there any other function or logic, which inform about the duplicate reocrds so that we can process on that.
