Hello,
We changed the data element of a ZZ field in the VBAP table. After activation,we ran database adjustment in SE14. The database adjustment runs for like 3 hours and then dumps. I have attached the DUMP for the analysis. We have been re triggering database adjustment job for 2 days now and it is not able to adjust the VBAP table.
Please guide what steps to follow to adjust the table?

Hi please ask your database administrator to assign more table space to the VBAP table..
The error occurred as system couldn't allocate enough table space for your table.

Hello Gill,
Before adjusting the table did you checked the VBAP table. Is your field getting enough space to be allocated. Also as per my knowledge before adjusting how did you able to activate the table. As you have mentioned (After activation,we ran database adjustment in SE14. The database adjustment runs for like 3 hours and then dumps)

Thanks Maju.
The basis team allocated more space to the database buffer as it was dumping due to not enough memory allocation.
