Dump Errors

Dear Experts

We abapers are facing with lot of dump errors in many scnearios.For example in creating sales order through VA01 , migo....lots of scenarios.don know whats the reason for this errors...it says that "rise exception error ", dynpro not found error , and so many....and while analysing the shortdump analysis ST22 it says the same steps for all the dumps.and if thats is not solving it ask to send document to SAP

The most common one is to regenerate the SAP program or the screen program....

else it is asking for the table to be adjusted and deactivated....through se14...

In IDES if we restart the SAP server management console , mostly the error gets fixed.

But in the case of real time and that too we are working with remote server these error are really hectic as we cant restart the client server ...

it shows sometime that its ABAP runtime error and functional consultants approaching us to solve this...

as am fresh in ABAP am not good in solving DUMP errors.

any ways to do it.

Hi,

There should be some Transport / patch imported to your system which is causing this error.

Contact your basis person to find all transports and / or patch applied to your system from time you are getting this error.

Hi

This could be because of improper application of any patch or Hot fix.

Ask basis team to check in SAP for relevant and applicable patches, Hot fixes so that system will be normal, up and running smoothly.

I dont think these are development issues.
