Downloading Database Table Directly Without Code

Hi

experts i want to know is there any functionality so that we can download the tabe structure direcltly to our desktop and if possible structure with data as similar to smartforms so that we can direclty upload the table structure from one to other client or server.

i heard this is possible in other ERPs

waiting for all experts advices and soluitons ,

answers will be rewarderd points

Hi,

While viewing the table entries, U will have download option in se11 transaction. In the menu, goto

EDIT/DOWNLOAD.....

then a popup window will come with which format u want to download like excel, html, rich text format etc.

for answering .. that i know how to download the table entries i

want to download the table structure .. suppose i had ztable created in one client or one server i want it to copy the D.E and its DOMAIN ..etc on desktop and i will upload it in other client or server

Hi

Try like this:

1. Goto SE11 Screen.

2. Write the table name 'DD03L' into database table field and

press display button.

3. Select Display Table contents from Utilities menu.

4. In selection screen you can give the table name you want to

download in Tabname field(i.e. BSEG).

5. If you want all details of each field then execute transaction

as is otherwise select 'List Format->Choose fields' from the

settings menu to select the fields you want in display.

6. It will give you the details of all the fields in that table.

7. For Downloading these details, goto Edit->Download and follow

the usual procedure for download

Hi,

As suggested,go to SE11->Enter Table name->Display.Then choose contents -> Press Execute.

In the display,in the menu bar,choose Edit->Download->SpreadSheet->Give the file path.

This will download the entries with field name.

Hi,

For data u can go to SE11, specify the table name and display. Utilities Menu

-> Table Entries -> Display. Then u can download the contents using Edit -> Download. We have to download the contents and structure separately and not in a single option.
