I have use this type in table control process:
<i><i>FORM paging USING p_control TYPE cx_tableview
p_code TYPE syucomm
p_loopc TYPE syloopc.
FIELD-SYMBOLS <tbctrl> TYPE cx_tableview.
ASSIGN p_control TO <tbctrl>.
CASE p_code.
WHEN 'PGTP'.
<tbctrl>-top_line = 1.
WHEN 'PGUP'.
<tbctrl>-top_line = <tbctrl>-top_line - loopc + 1.
IF <tbctrl>-top_line LE 0.
<tbctrl>-top_line = 1.
ENDIF.
WHEN 'PGDN'.
<tbctrl>-top_line = <tbctrl>-top_line + loopc - 1.
IF <tbctrl>-top_line GE <tbctrl>-lines.
<tbctrl>-top_line = <tbctrl>-lines.
ENDIF.
WHEN 'PGBT'.
<tbctrl>-top_line = <tbctrl>-lines.
ENDCASE.
ENDFORM. " paging</i></i>
But I cannot find this type from ABAP dictionary. I guess this type is the same with CXTAB_CONTROL. Anyway, is it still work in future version? Thanks

Hi,
Instead of cx_tableview, why don't you try just tableview. I have never passed a tablecontrol to a form, so not sure that would work, but give it a try.
I also see, you are trying to scroll in a tablecontrol, therefore I assume, you would have declared the tablecontrol in the Top Include. If so is the case, why are you trying to pass a parameter for tablecontrol in the form ?? You can directly use the variable present in the TOP Include.
Let me know if this helps, or if you have found a solution, do share it with us.

Many thanks for your reply, I write such form was because of our function group might contain a lot of subscreens with table control, for re-use purpose, we try to develop such common-use dynamic programming compoment.
In fact, if we replace "CX_TABLEVIEW" with "CXTAB_CONTROL", itz still no error and I can link to type-pool "CXTAB", but with "TABLEVIEW" will occur progrm syntax error. However, if we use "CX_TABLEVIEW", system would tell us "Global type cx_tableview does not exist. Create Object?", means ABAP also cannot find it...

Oh that is wonderful. In fact, unknowingly, I have helped you and you have as well. I never realised , a type pool has been maintained for CXTAB_CONTROL.
In case, you think, your question is answered, just mark the question as answered and also spread the love

I checked the help and this is what I found out, however when I tried to find out <b>CXTAB_CONTROL</b> in SE11.
For a description of individual components of the structure CXTAB_CONTROL, refer to:
Table Controls in ABAP Programs
When displaying the control, the system uses the current contents at the time when all PBO modules have run. The modified values (changed by the user on the screen) are set directly before the first PAI is called.
Hope this helps
