hi!

i need documentation for fm

CONVERT_COMM_DATA_TYPE

i don't have it in the system and i cant find it anywhere

Sorry Yifat..But there is no documentation available for the FM that you have mentioned and as correctly renamed by Anand.I would suggest that you look at the importing and exporting parameters and the dataelements used for them.Sadly enough you need to look at the descriptions mentioned for each of the dataelement and the possible values that they take in order to understand what exactly is passed and what exactly is output.Also you can refer to the shorttext that is present beside each of the parameters.These help sometimes in getting hints about why they are there.If the text is in German use a language translator and get them translated into English.

Hi Yifat,

Is the name of the Function Module correct ? Which system are you referring to ?

I don't find it in my R/3 system. Are you referring to CONVERT_COMM_TYPE_DATA by any chance ?
