Hi Folks,

I have to facilitate two authorisation before posting a document in FICO.To achieve this do I need to get into workflow?

Can we achieve this without workflow?

With workflow or without workflow,whatever the way please let me know

step by step.

Hi,

Based on the FICO Document Amount , two different people have to be authorised to post the document, This can be achieved by configuring the Workflow.

Workflow automates the steps and activities in a business process according to predefined procedures and rules.

Workflow presents information and documents to the appropriate knowledge worker or agent (another entity such as a program) to make a decision or perform an activity.

Workflow tracks each and every step in the process flow and maintains an ongoing status.

Workflow also collects and reports all of the metrics associated with the execution and completion of the process.

Hi,

First find the related Business object for this document

and the related Method, event to trigger this.Use SWO1 Tcode for this

You can use the User ID 's of both the persons who have to post this based on the authorisation.

Have to create a TASK in PFTC (or search whether a std task is there in the system or not) and to attach the business object and method.

Have to define the Binding, Triggering events for that, attach the activity and conditions and the Respective users.

Use SWDD for building the WF.

Business Object-FIPP.(am i right ?)

1.When I drop down the links of Method and Events it is showing many Documents.Now how to find the related method,event?

2.You have mentioned USER Ids,where I have to mention the same.

3.In PFTC if I had mentioned

TASK TYPE AS STANDARD TASK

TASK -(HERE IT IS SHOWING MANY AND A FEW RELATED TO FI)

For the time being let me know about the above mentioned areas.As I am working at the client site I am the only ABAPer,looking forward to your help.

hi,

before starting check if organisational unit has been created or not..

if not --

1.Choose Tools -- Business Workflow -- Development -- Definition Tools-- Organizational Management -- Organizational Plan -- Create.

2. create further organisation unit if required

3. create staff assignments..<b>in your case create two assignments for two authorizations</b>

Choose Tools -- Business Workflow -- Development -- Definition Tools -- Organizational Management -- Organizational Plan -- Change.

4.create jobs,create positions ,assign task (for all these refer the material).

5. goto tcode swdb

6. create container element in the workflow container at the left hand side.(If you are starting the Workflow Builder for the first time, an initial workflow definition is displayed there. Otherwise, the workflow that was processed last is opened.)

7.determine triggering event

8. define binding(transfer of data) between event and workflow container.

9. save your workflow.

10. your workflow is triggered by an event,in your case it should be posting the FICO document.

Can you please let me know how to create a job-position and task and the connection between them.There are some standard tasks in the system when I had cliked on the same in PFTC transaction.
