1.
SAP does not provide for version management for SAPScripts, Smartforms, Smartstyles and data disctionary objects.
2. Yes what ever the changes that you make in the development system has to be transported on to Production system with a request associated to it.

hi,
Make sure that it is associated with some development class ... If so once after the completion of changes while you save and activate it asks for a request ... assign the changes to that request ... go to SE09 and transport to the reqired system ..
Reward if it helps,

hai santosh good answer i gave a request number and transported using se09
thats fine, can after some time i change again and transport , then will it transports with same request number or new one , if it is new one then can see the old form from my old request number if it is so then it is version management which scripts do not have

hi,
When you make changes to any of the programs in the request it only stores the name of the programs for which the changes are made ... so if you try opening these from request it shows you the latest changes of these program ... so now tell me how can you find the previous changes ??? so there is no concept of version management unlike reports ... I guess you have understood now ...

Hi Mohammed...
what will happen is until up ur request is open u can create multiple tasks under it. That is if u release the task doenst mean releasing the transport. u need to check whether ur request is still in D or Q. if it is still in D u can use the same request for further modifications.
u cant compare forms the by request number.

if u want to transport these are the scenarios...
1. when ur coping the form from one client to other while cpoying it ask for the package if u give the package name it ask for the transport number. here u can give the request number. this is one way...
2. this is u can do through SE03. once u go into se03 there u can find one option like chage object entries. execute it and give ur form name and execute and it asks for the transport, then u can give ur request number..
please reward with some points if it is useful...

Hi Afzal,
Every time you change the script it has to be transported.you can use SCC1 transaction to move the script to the target client.also just a brief scripts can be downloaded to the desktop through a program RSTXSCRP.
