disable button on screen

The scenario is that the users want to disable the 'Empty' button on a screen, the screen where we enter Payment Request i.e the transaction F-871, I wanted to confirm whether its possible or not and if its possible, how can we achieve this

Yes it can, but I need to change the standard, if your release is ECC 6 u can try to use an implicit enhancement

Contact your BASIS person.

Some times It is possible by assigning suitable roles to the user. If suitable authorization objects present then only it is possible. Ask your basis person to check the authorization objects.
