direct input method to upload material master

hi all,

i dont know how to upload the material master data using direct input method.i want the standard program name and i want the detailed procedure.i dont want with lsmw.

and in material master i need to choose the views basic data 1&2,purchasing,forien trade,mrp-2,general plant data-1,

accounting-1,accounting-2 views.

so please give me full description.

Use BAPI_MATERIAL_SAVEDATA and search forum. Lots of threads with same topic.

Hi,

Step 1: Create a Sequential file with appropriate data. For this you could use the program RMDATGEN for a sample file generation.

Step2: Once the data file is ready, use RMDATIND , with appropriate file parameters, load the data.

Hi Gupta,

If u want to upload the material master data, I see that the easiest way to do is using LSMW only. I donno why you dont want to do it by LSMW.

Also, you can select the views you need in Field mapping step in LSMW.

The program name is same "RMDATIND".

Revert back if u find any problems using LSMW.

Instead Of Going For LSMW .

Just Run The Program RMDATIND.

If U want use Direct Input In LSMW Just Go through This Link.
