Difference between WEB AS 6.40 and ECC 6.0

Hi,

Would you know what is the difference between between WEB AS 6.40 and ECC 6.0 versions of SAP. Also, I would like to know how they are related?

Hi

before 4.6 C we used to use ITS (internet transaction server) instead of WAS (web Application server

initial version of WAS is 6.2 now Ecc6.0 comes with WAS 6.4 version which contains Web (Java enginee) included.
