Hi all,

I want to know what is the difference between creating modifying table records using SM30 and creating modifying table records using SE11. As in Se11 itself we have the options for creating modifying Customer table records why we have to go for SM30.

Regards,

Kasi S

Not every one will be having the authorisation for maintaining records via SE11, only they will get authorisation via SM30 for record maintenance.

Not all tables will have the option to create /change/delete records in SE11.

Only the tables that are marked with the check box, table maintenance allowed will have that option.

Whereas in SM30, the tables for which the table maintenance is generated, the maintenance will be there. YOu can do your own validations also if you want before the data gest saved to the databse. In se11 you do not have that facility.
