Hi Friends,
I am a bit confused so far as the concepts of Field Symbol and Data reference is concerned.
Say, I declare a variable "var" of type "integer(I)" with default value " 5 ".
Somewhere in the memory, this variable is going to be craeted and lets assume that the memory address in which it is stored is "1000".
Suppose i declare a field symbol (FS) and Data refernece variable (DS).
If i assign Var to FS or DS, then who will hold the memory address 1000 ?
How it works ?

Debi

so first tell me how you would create a data reference to that variable.
