Difference between ECC 5.0 and SAP 4.7

Can anyone please explain the difference between ECC 5.0 and SAP 4.7 from ABAP point of view? What is the full form of ECC?

Hi,

From an ABAP perspective, not many changes, its just the underlying WAS has changed frm 6.20 to 6.40 and of course new features has been in the form of classes / methods.

ECC - ERP Central Component.
