Hi Experts,

Can any one tell me the major difference between ECC 4.0 and ECC 6.0.

Hi,

There is nothing Called Ecc 4.0

there is only Sap R/3 4.7 E ,then to Ecc 5.0 and noe its Ecc 6.0

in Ecc6.0 Many of the components like XI,BI are incorporated where 4.7E Doesnt has...

hi,

the basic difference between SAP R/3 4.7 and ECC 6.0 is of NetWeaver technology.

In ECC 6.0 it is based on NetWeaver technology which is a central component and it enables SAP to interact with other applicatons and is web enabled.

whereas in SAP R/3 4.7 it based on R/3 architecture and it's not based on NetWeaver technology.It not web based. basically its the architecture which has been changed.
