dialog programming

hi,

i have a confusion in dialog programming concept, please any one could help me in this topic, regarding the steps by steps process and any sample code that has to be coded.... please, i would thankful if you could help me in smart forms and sap scripts also

Also check the demo programs under the transaction ABAPDOCU.

Basically there r two events

PBO- Process before output

PAI- Process After Input

In PBO, u put the code basically for foramtting the screen such as hide some fields, to display something.

In PAI, all screen processing & event handling means push buttons coding etc...
