Deletion of master data using function module RSNDI_MD_DELETE

Hello toghether,

I have to develop function modules for writing and deleting master data in BW. For writing master data I used function module RSNDI_MD_ATTRIBUTES_UPDATE and it works fine.

But I have a problem to delete master data using function module RSNDI_MD_DELETE. If I supply i_iobjnm and I set the flag I_FLG_DELETE_ALL, it deletes all data in the object. Because of I want to delete only single entries, I didn't set the flag above and tried to fill the table I_T_DATA with the key fields like this (RECORD_NO, IOBJNM, VALUE):


1      0TCTSSYSID      <blank> (because the entry is always empty)
1      Z_USER          <username>
1      Z_AUTH          <auth.-number>

These three fields are the key fields. The table is filled analogue to the use of writing master data. But unfortunately the call of the function module does not delete the entry. The return parameters E_SUBRC and E_COUNT_USED are "0", there is no message in the message table.

Can anybody help me what's wrong?

Hi,

Are you using I_COMMIT_WORK or I_DB_COMMIT.

I think you need to commit your work.

Thank you, but unfortunately this is not the error. The entry is not deleted neither with nor without commit-flags.
