deleting

Hello friends,

I had made modifications to a SAP standard program and a Z program already written by some one else.

However due to some functional changes I have been asked to delete all my work. I have deleted manually all my changes in the code.

So now do I need to delete the Transport as well or just move it to QAS and prod.

Any advice,

Shejal.

You can delete the transport, make sure that you first delete the objects from it, you can do this in SE10, simply by putting your cursor on the object and clicking delete, then do the same for the TR.

Hi,

You don't have to transport the CR, as there is no change..

Yes..You can delete the transport..

Hi,

Please ensure you delete all your development objects from the transport request (SE01) and then delete the transport request at then end.

HI

if you would have already moved ur changes to production then jus delete the code

not required in your development system and then create a new transport and move it to the production..

No need to delete the old transport...

Hi,

What Rich mentioning is to remove the programs from the CR before deleting the CR.

Thanks,

I would release but not transport the request. Then use version management to go back to the versions that you need.

This will preserve your changes in version management (just in case the requirements change back again).

Sorry - I didn't see that you had deleted your changes. In that case, this won't work.
