Deleting Segment Definitions

Hi Folks,

I have a custom segment "Z1KNA1M" which has one definition in it and it is set to release as 4.6C. My current release is 700. When I try to delete the segment definition it is throwing an error 'Error in deleting segment'. Even when i try to cancel the release it not allowing me to do so. Please suggest the possible solution to delete segment type or definition of it..

Thanks for the reply. The links sent have the information on how to delete the segments from IDOC Data.

My problem here is to delete the segment type or definition of it from the database. Please help me out on this.

Goto WE31 transaction ,in menu first cancel the release and then delete the segement.
