Default date field variant

Hi All,

We have a program where in we are populating default date range as ysetreday to today.No i need to build a variant which accepts these default values.When i set up a variant i cant give dates.The variant has to pickup the default date populated from the program.

how do we achieve this?

Please help.

Hi Sai,

I guess you have defined the date as select options, right.

1. Then when you are managing the date range programatically why to have date as select options in selection screen?

2. If you want the date range to be in selection screen, then create a variant and make the date selection dynamic thru variant.

3. Or submit the program by giving the date range thru another program.

another way of doing it is by using Selection variable maintenance.
