Decision Making in SPAU

Hi Gurus,

I am in the Process of Upgradation. While handling Standard objects with SPAU, How we will take the decision that we have to reset to original or do the adjustment.

Situation 1.

7 Versions exist in version DB. Version 1 Contain 1 SAP note. Version 2 Contain Note 2. So should i check all the SAP notes whether it is available in new release?

Situation 2.

-

1 SAP Note is applied for which Support pack is not available. So should we reset to original and apply this note after upgrade? or keep the adjustment?

Situation 3.

-

They have applied a note of Pilot Release. What has to be done?

Situation 1.

If you have used the Note Assistant for applying the notes, these changes should normally not be visible in the SPAU if these notes are included in the new release. If manual actions have been applied you should only have to look at the active version (new SAP version) and the last version before the active version (your old version).

Situation 2.

Correct.

Situation 3.

Hard to tell.... Could be the same as situation 2, or If the pilot release note is not applicable for the new release you should contact SAP to get an updated version.
