debugging

hi fellow professionals

i am running a report where i am using older method of debugging ie entering /h in command bar & setting breakpoint at particular statement where i want to debug.i don't want this older method i want to use new method in debugging which is newly used in market.give me good feedback.rewards for good feedback

Which market are you talking about buddy ? Which version of SAP are you using? IIf i remember correctly the new debugger is available from ECC5.0 onwards.

Hi Sumanth,

SDN is very helpfull site for all SAP developers, and all are contributing to solve the problems, its not like that contribution is just for Points.

If you are debugging Report, FM or Enhancements, latest version of SAP is ECC6.0.

Debbuger in ECC6.0 is very user friendlly. set a break point at the stement where you want to observe how your code is reacting and then check your development.

some times if you are not getting new abap debugger then there is option to Switch to new abap debbuger.

I think what i suggetsed to you is the one of the best approach to debbug, because it will take your less effort and mimimum time.

other wise you already written in your post abt ' /h'.
