Hi,

Many times there are requirement to maintain customer data which varies from customer to customer and this data can not be maintained in standard tables, in such cases we create custom tables. These tables help us to maintain the data in the way customer wants. we can design table as per the requirement. It is similar to this - though there are standard SAP programs, we still create custom programs to satisfy customer requirements.

Hope this helps.

Hi,

Some times SAP standard tables may not be suit to the Customer Business requirements, then we will go for creation of new tables.

Thanks,

Sri.

Hi,

Every requirement is different from the previous one's. That's the main reason we need to create our own database tables depending upon our requirement, rather than using the standard ones.

Hope the above information will help you.

Thanks and Regards,
