DBIF_DSQL2_CONNECTSTR_ERROR<br>

Exception CX_SY_NATIVE_SQL_ERROR<br>

Short text<br>

Connection ID unknown<br><br>

What happened?<br>

The connection identifier points to the data in the table DBCON

needed to establish a connection to the database system in the

context of the multi-connect. However, there is no entry

with the key "CONNECTION".<br><br>

Error analysis<br>

An exception occurred that is explained in detail below.

The exception, which is assigned to class 'CX_SY_NATIVE_SQL_ERROR', was not

caught in

procedure "CONNECT_REMOTEDB" "(FORM)", nor was it propagated by a RAISING

clause.

Since the caller of the procedure could not have anticipated that the

exception would occur, the current program is terminated.<br>

The reason for the exception is:

Triggering ABAP/4 statement: Connect to "CONNECTION"<br><br>

Hi Dipankar,

Please check the entry created for the Database connection in Transaction DBCO.

The database name, type, connection information etc must be valid/accurate w.r.t the database you wish to connect.

Regards

Raj

Thanks Raj for your valuable input regarding this.....<br>

I came to know that it is a catchable exception but now it is telling<br><h3>specified secondary database connection is not registered in table DBCON.</h3><br>but i am not understanding how does the secondary database come here?<br>
