Use SM31 to maintain this table.

CON_NAME - Connection name which identifies your connection. You can give any name up to 30 Charecter's. This name would be used in conjunction to "CONNECT TO <name>" command to make an actual connection to database.

DBMS - Type of database you want to connect

ORA Oracle

INF Informix

MSS Microsoft SQL Server

DB2 DB2/MVS

DB6 DB2/RS6000

ADA ADABAS/D

DB4 DB2/OS400

USER_NAME - Database User name used by the connection

PASSWORD - Database User Password

CON_ENV - name that identifies the database instance

Hi,

Did the reply help? If so, don't forget to assign points. I gave some, but feel free to increase them!

See: </people/mark.finnern/blog/2004/08/10/spread-the-love for directions.

Click on the Yellow Star icon in each reply.

You can give:

1 - 10 pointer (solves problem, marks as answered)

2 - 6 pointers (very helpful)

Lots of 2 pointers (helpful)

Thanks!

Linda (and Mark Finnern)
