database utility required in different client in same system?

Hi,

I modified a database view field dataelement and activated it in client 100 thru database utility. Now when i go to client 300 i am able to see the data element changed for the field but when i see the entries I am not able to see any difference in the data even after data element is changed.

Should I actvate the view again in 300 thru database utility to see the difference in data even though the structure of the view shows changed value.

Hi,

When you the adjustment in SE14 it is applicable for all the clients..

Also What is the difference you are expecting?

The view is generated for Seach help for material. I have changed the MAKTX field to MAKTG. When i view the contents i am able to see only values of old field MAKTX and not MAKTG.

hello Karthik,

It should activated automatically,if not then if it is test box then use database utility again and see the results.

do not work on production.
