Hi Shree

Please check DB15 to check the Archiving objects for an table , and also tables for an archiving object.

You need to Archive the object "FI_MKKDO " FI-CA: Document.

This Object has lot of tables linked, so you need to decide on the business requirents / also through network graphic for the sequence

Hi naveen,

I have given a set of tables to archive. After finding the Archive object name If I execute the write program means it will create the archive file in the specified path. This can also be done by a functional. What is the work for a developer here.

Sorry to ask this question. Just want to know.

Shree.

Hi Swarna,

DB15 is the t.code where in yo can see how a table is mapped to an object and vice versa.By the way, a developer may not be mandatorily required to archive the data from your mentioned object/table. Since archiving profssionals are not many in India and you being an ABAPer, you could be an obvious choice.

Archiving professionals can easily gather the requirements, configure and then archive the data as per their clients requirements.

Regards..
