hi everyone

I have to send PO details to a 3rd party through EDI via XML

I wanted to ask if I have to do configurations just like IDOC i.e.

1) create logical system

2) create port

3) create partner profile

The for the XML conversion, I dont know

Can anybody confirm if the above steps should be done and what any other additional configurations should be made?

Hi,

The Idoc to XML mapping will be taken care by Middleware systems / XI.

You need to send the PO Idoc to the subsystem using Message Control settings .

Kind Regards,

Hi,

Message control is one method to trigger the Idoc for the selected condition records.

Please go through the link attached below to know few details about Message Control process.
