'Custom Match Code For Material Lookups

i got a Problem on Lookups"<b>'Custom Match Code For Material</b> ,that Match code should be available in all the Transactions where Standard 'Material by Description'

is avialable ,<b>Eg:MM01,MM02,MM03</b>

for Example when we press F4 in the <b>'Material'field In the Transactions MM01,MM02,MM03</b> we will be getting pop up in which the <b>material No/Material Description Matchcode</b> contains the filters like Material Description,Language Key,Material,in which i have to add the filters like <b>Profit Center,Product hierarchy,Material Group,Material Class,Characteristics,& Color</b>in which i got all the fields Except Characteristics & color,i want from which tables i can the fields like Characteristics,color.Bcz Characteristics,color,entirely depends on Material Class,i want how they are Related

Welcome to SDN.

You can create your custom search help T/code "SE11" and attach the same to the SAP standard collective search help "MAT1" (Under include search help) .

ok i can create the search help,thats not a problem

but the problem is that how the color,& the characterstics are based on the Material class,means how they are linked to Each other i.e color ,charactersics & Material Class,if i get this problem solved i can go further,bcz as far as i know we cant give ranges for Search help,but in my Object my client wants the range for the color & characterstics basing on the Material Class
